:: Seattle Aquarium ::

Time for a bit of catching up! After a busy few weeks of work, Nick and I headed to Vegas to celebrate Ali's 30th birthday. I forgot to bring my camera, so I don't have any pictures to show, but you can check out the weekend festivities HERE.

We have spent the past week relaxing and getting caught up as I leave again in a few days for another work trip to Montana. This time, Nick will be going back for work as well, so we are bringing Madeline along with us.

We had a wonderful weekend at home relaxing, cleaning, running errands, taking afternoon naps and hanging out as a family. We took Madeline to the Seattle Aquarium today and she had SO MUCH fun. We will be buying the annual pass to the Aquarium because she loved it so much. Below are some pictures from our journey today.

Maddy all bundled up and ready for the Aquarium.

At the Aquarium and touching the sea stars. I think she liked splashing in the water more than actually touching the fish.
-
-
She thought this was the coolest thing ever until. . . .
-
-
. . . . Mom made her get behind every one of them for a picture. It grew old to her pretty fast!
-
-
She loved seeing all the different kinds of fish.
-
-
Nemo was her favorite. We would try to walk away and move on to the next exhibit, but she would turn around and run back to this one.
-
-

Taking a little snack break while watching the fish.

-
Here we are outside watching the seals. The seals swam underneath us so we couldn't see them anymore and Maddy immediately threw up her hands like, "where did they go?"
-
-
Up close and personal with another seal.
-
-

Intently watching the sea otters.

Here's Dad looking at all the fish wondering if he could get out his fly rod.

Kids seem to LOVE the aquarium - looks like you guys had a lot of fun. Next trip you take down there, can I come with?
