:: Livingston Town Proper ::

Nick and I want to an amazing concert back in January and I still smile every time I think about this conert. It was one of, if not the best, concert I have ever been too. John Mayer organized a charity concert in Bozeman where all proceeds went to benefit the Livingston Fire Fighters. Zac Brown helped out and played as well. The concert took place in the auditorium where Nick went to elementary school. Nick kept joking and thought it was pretty funny that he has sung on the same stage as John Mayer and Zac Brown. Needless to say, you can imagine how intimate the concert was. I didn't get any good pictures, but did snap a few photos of the night.

A local band opened the night - I cannot remember the name and wish I did because they were great! John Mayer joined them on stage for the last song and played backup guitar.

After Zac Brown wrapped up his set, John Mayer came out and played a few songs with just himself and his guitar. He was then joined by a few other band members to wrap up the evening. I took the below video on my iPhone. . . . . . . .

Overall, an amazing night and one that I am so thankful Nick and I were able to get tickets too. Tickets sold out within minutes. Nick and I both had laptops open when the tickets went on sale and thanks to quick fingers, we were able to snag a few. It was worth every penny.

:: Sledding ::

We took the girls sledding on Saturday. It was a beautiful day and so fun. I hadn't been sledding in quite some time and forgot how fun it is.. . . .

Taylor loved laying down and "sleeping" while we sent her down the hill in the sled.

:: Thanksgiving ::

We were so lucky this year to have Chris and Jamie come visit us for Thanksgiving. They were in town for the whole week. We had such a great time with them and the girls were in heaven. Unfortunately, I did not take many pictures, but we had a great time with them in town. Below are a few pictures from the week. . .

Jamie, Ali and I went out for an awesome dinner to celebrate the Cats win. The husbands were on their way back from the game in Missoula and met us downtown for some drinks afterwards. Fun fun night!

Nick and I ran in a little 5k on Thanksgiving morning. First time I have ever run in snow.

Jamie helped me with some crafts. I made this tree skirt.

 I found this picture on my phone - it appears Taylor and Uncle Berky were playing around with my phone.

On Thanksgiving day, we played in a little Turkey Bowl with the Daws/Weedin family. We met in the park between our houses for the game. A lot of fun times and laughs were had. Unfortunately, I had zero energy for the game. Next year I need to remember that I am not in good enough shape to run a 5k and then try to play a football game.

:: More Halloween Festivities ::

A few more pictures from Ocotober. Riverside had a great Halloween kids event that was free! I love these free events. They turned the driving range into a pumpkin patch and took kids on a tractor ride to pick out a pumpkin. Inside the clubhouse they had all kinds of activities for the kids to do - face painting, cookie decorating, and various arts & crafts. It was such a fun event.

On Halloween, we had a last minute, impromptu pizza party with some friends at our house. I stayed back and passed out candy while the Dads took the kiddos out.

:: Hay Bale Maze ::

Since it is almost Christmas, I thought it was about time to post pictures from October. We went to the Hay Bale Maze again this year. The Maze was much harder this year than last year, but we made it through. After we completed the maze is when the girls really started having fun - they did the harness trampoline jumping thing (not sure of the official name.) They could not wipe the smiles off their faces and screamed and giggled the entire time. It is so fun and melts my heart to watch my girls have so much fun. I thought I'd start off this post with a picture from the Hay Bale Maze last year - look at how young my girls were. . . . .

Taylor's turn! You had to be at least 30 pounds to do this and Taylor barely made the cut off.

 A little unsure at first.

Now she understands how much fun it is.
